Sportiefs Matcha is a lifestyle-focused matcha brand centered around performance, intentional living, and community. We are expanding our retail footprint and are looking for an experienced sales professional who can help bring Sportiefs Matcha into the right retail environments.
Sportiefs Matcha | Remote / U.S.
Sportiefs Matcha is seeking an experienced CPG Retail Account Executive to expand our retail and wholesale presence across the United States.
This is a performance-driven, commission-based opportunity for an established CPG sales professional who already understands the retail buying process, has successfully placed consumer products into retail, and brings an active network of buyer relationships.
This is not an entry-level sales, lead-generation, or cold outreach position. We are specifically looking for candidates with demonstrated CPG retail placement experience and existing relationships with retail buyers, category managers, distributors, or decision-makers.
Secure new retail and wholesale accounts for Sportiefs Matcha.
Leverage your existing buyer relationships to introduce Sportiefs to qualified retail opportunities.
Pitch and present Sportiefs Matcha to grocery, specialty food, wellness, lifestyle, hospitality, and other relevant retailers.
Manage the sales process from initial introduction through samples, buyer follow-up, negotiation, onboarding, and purchase order.
Develop relationships with regional and national retail accounts.
Maintain an organized pipeline of prospective and active accounts.
Identify opportunities for retail expansion, distribution, and strategic partnerships.
Provide feedback on buyer requirements, pricing, margins, merchandising, case packs, and other factors affecting retail placement.
Represent Sportiefs professionally in all communications with buyers and retail partners.
You should already understand how CPG retail sales works. We are looking for someone who can demonstrate:
Proven success placing CPG products into retail.
Existing relationships with retail buyers and decision-makers.
Previous experience representing food, beverage, wellness, grocery, or adjacent CPG brands.
Knowledge of wholesale pricing, retailer margins, purchase orders, buyer presentations, samples, sell sheets, and retail onboarding.
Ability to independently manage opportunities from introduction to closed account.
Strong negotiation, communication, and relationship-management skills.
A results-oriented approach with the ability to work independently.
Strong preference will be given to candidates who can provide specific examples of brands they have successfully placed and retailers/buyers they currently have relationships with.
